Fifty-five of Canada’s top emerging artists will represent their regions and provinces at the 2019 National Music Festival of the Federation of Canadian Music Festivals. The 2019 festival is hosted at the University of Saskatchewan.

All competitions and masterclasses at the National Music Festival are open to the public. Tickets and an official program may be purchased on-site.

The Federation of Canadian Music Festivals is the umbrella organization for over 190 local and provincial festivals in Canada and is under the direction of Executive Director Barbara Long, President Joy McFarlane-Burton and a board of directors made up of representatives from various provincial festivals. The National Music Festival Competitions will take place on Thursday and Friday in four venues at the University of Saskatchewan. The Grand Awards Competition will take place in Convocation Hall, Peter Mackinnon Building, University of Saskatchewan at 7:30 pm, Aug. 10.
