Tia Furstenberg: abiding presence

Artist's work explores the invisible rather than the visible

Event

Gordon Snelgrove Gallery exhibition
Dates: May 21 - 31, 2019
Reception: May 24, 7 - 10 pm
Free and open to the public

Artist's statement:
My work explores the invisible rather than the visible. The human form is a motif in my work, yet its purpose serves as a carrier of an unseen presence. I am interested in how the energy of nature reveals the human psyche—mind, soul and spirit. By juxtaposing and collaging various landscapes, I am connecting and unfolding the inner with the outer world.
