With Glowing Hearts is the rousing true story of a group of hard rock miners’ wives who came together in 1941 to stand up for better conditions for their families. They became the heart and soul of a union movement that ultimately changed their lives—and the world.

The play is based on Quinlan’s SSHRC-funded research into the role of women in mining unions and union women’s auxiliaries.
