History Professor Valerie Korinek nominated for two book awards

USask History Professor Valerie Korinek has been nominated for two Saskatchewan Book Awards for her recently published Prairie Fairies: A History of Queer Communities and People in Western Canada, 1930-1985.

Dr. Korinek is up for prizes in both the University of Saskatchewan Non-Fiction and Jennifer Welsh Scholarly Writing categories.

The winners of the Sask Book Awards will be announced at the Award Ceremony on Saturday, April 27 at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.
