John Ranton McIntosh Visiting Scholar and Arts & Sciences Role Model Speaker Audra Simpson is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University and the Director of the Study of Ethnicity and Race.
Dr. Simpson grew up in Kahnawake and has won numerous awards for her recent book, Mohawk Interruptus: Political Life Across the Borders of Settler States.
This event is hosted by the Aboriginal Education Research Centre, the Department of Indigenous Studies and the Department of Educational Foundations.
