University of Saskatchewan History Professor Dr. Maurice Jr. Labelle conducted a national interview with CTV News Channel's Molly Thomas about a controversial law recently passed in the Israeli Knesset. The Basic Law of 2018, approved on Thursday, July 19th, officially codifies Israel as being exclusively "a nation-state for the Jewish people" and fails to constitutionally directly acknowledge either Palestinian existence or rights. The interview aired at 6:30pm ET/4:30pm MT on Thursday, 19 July 2018. To watch the Dr. Labelle at work, see: https://www.facebook.com/CTVNewsChannel/videos/1872368559491133/
