English professor and director of the MFA in Writing, Jeanette Lynes, has just released her second novel.

The Small Things That End The World, published by Coteau Books, is an intergenerational story that begins on  the night of one of Canada's worst natural disasters, Hurricane Hazel, in 1954. Lynes is also the author of seven collections of poetry.

The Small Things That End The World will be launched on June 27 at 7 p.m., at McNally Robinson bookstore in Saskatoon, with special guests Sheri Benning and Barbara Langhorst.
