Emerging Agriculture is a three-day hackathon January 9th-11th at Innovation Place in Saskatoon that brings students from various colleges (Arts & Science, Commerce, Engineering, Agriculture) together to collaborate on agriculture based ideas

Event

Emerging Agriculture is a three-day hackathon, January 9th-11th at Innovation Place in Saskatoon, that brings non-students and students from all colleges (Arts & Science, Commerce, Engineering, Agriculture) together to collaborate on agriculture based ideas. Emerging Agriculture's goal is to connect these individuals, with the anticipation that startup companies may emerge from their collaborations.

Prizes include consulting work from KPMG and Square one, cash awards from the Sasktel Mini Case Competition, and summer internship opportunities for students from companies including SeedHawk, VendAsta, Refresh Marketing, and IBM Toronto.
