Zachari Logan is artist-in-residence at New York's Wave Hill

Logan's art career continues to flower at renowned garden

Zachari Logan (BFA'05, MFA'09), one of the College of Arts & Science's Alumni of Influence, will be an artist-in-residence at the renowned Wave Hill Botanical Gardens in Bronx, NY. The six-week residency, which is part of Wave Hill's Winter Workspace Program, begins on Jan. 4, 2016. Logan will have full access to the grounds and hot-house collections and a studio located in the Sun Room in the historic Glyndor House (pictured: Observe, an installation by Takafumi Ide in the Sun Room).

Each winter, Wave Hill uses Glyndor Gallery as studio spaces for artists in the Winter Workspace Program,now in its seventh year. Twelve artists including Logan will create new work and develop ongoing projects, using the exceptional gardens, woodland setting and plant collections as sources of inspiration.

Each of the two sessions includes an Open Studio day and a series of artist-led workshops for visitors to participate in hands-on art activities.
