Dogs On Ice (second edition): Book Launch

English sessional lecturer Michael P.J. Kennedy has published the second edition of Dogs on Ice. The book launch will take place Nov. 24 at Smitty's on Circle Drive

Over a century of Huskie men’s and women’s hockey is captured in stories, photographs, and statistics in the new, expanded Second Edition of Dogs on Ice. Published by Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, the book will appeal to former players, university alumni, and those interested in hockey and its history. From Dave King to Mike Babcock; from Sylvia Fedoruk to Shannon Miller; from Peter Spafford to Derek Hulak the players and coaches who created the Huskie Hockey Tradition are captured in this informative and entertaining chronicle of Green and White Hockey from 1910 – 2015.

The Official Launch will take place at Smiley’s Banquet Room (702 Circle Drive, Saskatoon across from Home Depot) on Tuesday, 24 November 2015. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. with a brief programme beginning at 7:45. Books will be available to purchase and author P.J. Kennedy and project co-ordinator Bill Seymour will be available to personally autograph each copy.
