Practical and logistical elements of collecting qualitative research data will be discussed to introduce the skills and considerations necessary to effectively carry out qualitative research. Aspects such as ethical principles, recruitment, setting up and conducting interviews and focus groups, organizing and managing data once it has been collected and preparing it for analysis will all be explored. To conclude the seminar, helpful resources for those interested in qualitative analysis will be presented.
