Talk by Bill Waiser: Somehow, it didn't seem like war at all

To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the poem "In Flanders Fields" as well as the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War II, I am co-hosting a program together with Heritage Canada & the Yorkton Film Festival.

The Saskatoon Public Library will screen a short film called "Front Lines" followed by a talk by Emeritus Professor Bill Waiser. Bill taught at the U of S as a history professor for 30 years, received the Saskatchewan Order of Merit and the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal, and is the author, co-author or editor of 14 books.

Discussion & refreshments included.
