About this event

Communication at the Forefront of Teaching and Learning Mathematics

A talk by Dr. Andrijana Burazin (PhD), University of Toronto Mississauga

Communication is essential to all relationships, and the teaching and learning of mathematics is no exception. In this talk, I will share reflections and experiences that highlight how communication shapes my relationships with students, colleagues, mathematics itself, and even with myself as an instructor. Through these perspectives, I aim to explore how intentional, clear, and inclusive communication can transform mathematical learning environments and foster deeper engagement.

The Colloquium Committee gratefully acknowledges that our colloquium series is supported in part by the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences.
