College of Arts and Science top graduates celebrated at awards event

The 2025 USask Arts and Science Convocation Awards Ceremony recognized medal winners and most outstanding graduates

News

At its annual Convocation Awards Ceremony on June 2, 2025, the University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Arts and Science celebrated more than 40 outstanding graduates.

Held at Convocation Hall the night before the college’s ceremonies at USask Spring Convocation, the event recognized the most outstanding graduates in Arts and Science programs and the winners of college and university academic medals. Dean Brooke Milne, Interim Vice-Dean Academic Jennifer Lang and Interim Vice-Dean Faculty Relations Angela Lieverse presented the awards and congratulated the recipients onstage.

College of Arts and Science graduate—and one of Canada’s most acclaimed authors—Sharon Butala (BEd'62, BA'63, PGD'73, DLitt'04) gave a special alumni address to the graduates.
