Political Studies welcomes Clifton Mark to the Department!

Clifton Mark is a new lecturer in the department of political studies at the University of Saskatchewan. He recently completed his PhD, Honour, Dignity, and the Politics of Respect , at the University of Cambridge.

His research explores of how concepts of honour, dignity, and respect have been understood in the history of political and ethical thought, as well as how these concepts are deployed in contemporary political theory. He is currently teaching “Ideas and Change in a Global Era”, “Introduction to Political Theory”, and an advanced seminar on theories of multiculturalism. Dr Mark is excited to be a part of the U of S and looks forward to his first Saskatchewan spring.
