Conducted by Dr. Laurel Forshaw, the University Chorus is a welcoming non-auditioned ensemble for singers from the University of Saskatchewan and the wider Saskatoon community. Rehearsing weekly, the Chorus provides an opportunity for participants of diverse backgrounds and experience levels to engage in high-quality choral music-making while contributing to the vibrant cultural life of the university and the city.

Dr. Forshaw brings extensive experience as a choral conductor, educator, and collaborator, with particular interests in innovative programming, inclusive rehearsal practices, living composers, and interdisciplinary musical collaborations. Committed to creating a welcoming and collaborative choral community, she seeks to explore repertoire that reflects diverse voices, cultures, and musical traditions. Under her direction, the Chorus fosters artistic excellence, meaningful community engagement, and rewarding musical experiences for all singers.

The Chorus presents two annual concerts, in winter and spring, alongside the Greystone Singers. The ensemble also collaborates periodically with other musical organizations and has collaborated with groups including the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra and the Regina Philharmonic Chorus. Repertoire encompasses a broad range of choral music, including Canadian repertoire, contemporary compositions, works from diverse historical periods, and collaborative projects with other ensembles and orchestras.
