Jessica Jack MA Student
Supervisor Dr. Jim CliffordMy interests lie in prairie history and applying Historical Geographic Information Systems (HGIS) to prairie history research. My thesis examines how urban municipalities in early Saskatchewan between 1880 and 1920 were a conurbation, or a continuous network of urban communities, through an analysis of how information transmission created and maintained those networks, as well as examining how they impacted the colonial project within Saskatchewan.
