By examining ecclesiastical and secular legal records, I will determine if there was any noticeable change in the number of women who practiced popular magic following the witch trials, in the types of magic they practiced, or how they framed their practices—particularly I want to discover if the church continued to regulate magic practice among the common people following the trials as it had done before.
