The Academic Affairs Committee establishes rules and methods for the admission, progression, and graduation of undergraduate students of the College. Further, the Committee engages in the resolution of matters concerning academic dishonesty and misconduct.

Committee of Department Heads

The Committee of Department Heads (CDH) discusses departmental matters related to scholarship and discipline, teaching and programming, space and infrastructure, budgets and other administrative issues. The CDH reports to and advise Faculty Council on these matter. The CDH mentors and supports new Department Heads.

Indigenous Course Committee

The Indigenous Course Committee (ICC) is a committee comprised of faculty, University staff, students, and Indigenous community partners. The purpose of the ICC is to review, request revisions, and designate courses to be added to the Indigenous Learning Requirement (ILR) list for the College of Arts & Science as well as review and update as necessary the procedure to designate courses for inclusion in the ILR. The ICC also reviews requests for transfer credit of courses taken at other institutions to meet the ILR. They consult with Department Heads regarding instructors for ILR courses, provide support to the departments and faculty to encourage them to create ILR courses.
