For Expo 67. Montreal's medical elites were tasked with producing pavilions and exhibits on the state of world medicine in a way that spanned science and the arts. They incorporated extraordinary national and international talent to produce an engaging medicine show with a decidedly avant garde edge that became a popular hit. The talk explores the health and medicine theme as an example of the grand humanist message intended by Expo's creators to provide a non-commercial backbone to Canada's one globally significant world exhibition -- and of how it was radically transformed.

All are welcome.
