Camp Information

We're looking forward to seeing your child at camp! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at community.arts@usask.ca or 306-966-5530.

Refund policy

Withdrawing or cancelling your registration can be done up to 2 weeks prior to start date. A refund will be processed less a $100 administration fee. No refunds will be processed after this time.

Camp location and parking

Our camps are held in the Williams Building, 221 Cumberland Ave North.

If you are driving, there is parking directly behind and adjacent to the Williams Building in Lot 4651. When you come in off Cumberland Ave North, follow the signs that direct you around the loop. Please be aware that this is one-way only. Also be cautious when entering and exiting the parking lot, it can be very busy at the beginning and end of the day.

You can park at no charge in this lot during the time slots of 8-9am, 12-1pm, and 3:45-5:15pm. You will need to pay outside of these times. Do not park in the Lot W plug-in spots because this is permit parking only.

There is also street parking on Cumberland Avenue.

Camp times and before and after care

Camps run from 9am to 4pm. All campers can be dropped off starting at 8am and picked up right up to 5pm without penalty and with no further charges. There will be no formal art instruction during before and after care time, but our camp counsellors will have self-guided art activities available for your children to explore.

Drop-off and pick-up

  • Full-day camps: Participant drop-off is 8-9am and pick-up is 4-5pm in the gym, room 266 Williams Building.
  • Half-day camps: Participant drop off is 8-9am in the gym, room 266 Williams Building, and pick-up is 12pm in room 306 in the Northeast tower of the Williams Building.

Any adult picking up a participant must be listed as a pick-up person for that participant. Parents/guardians list all pick-up people during registration. To add extra dults, parents/guardians can email conference.events@usask.ca before June 27, 2024 or let our camp staff know on the first morning of camp. For security and liability reasons, we cannot release children to anyone not on the list.

Please note that pick-up people will be asked for ID on the first morning of camp when campers are dropped off, and at the end of every day when the campers are picked up. This is our policy to ensure the safety of the children in our camps by handing back guardianship to the authorized individuals. We appreciate your patience.

Protocol for late pick-up

If a child has not been picked up by 5pm (or 12:10pm for half-day camps), we will make every effort to contact all people on the child's pick-up list. If we are still unable to contact anyone on the pick-up list by 5:20pm (or 12:30pm for half-day camps), we will contact Protective Services at 306-966-5555 who will dispatch an agent to the Williams Building and coordinate with City Police on the next steps.
