History

The Ore Gangue is the oldest student society at the University of Saskatchewan, formed in 1934 by a group of geological sciences students and faculty members.

The Ore Gangue has a very active student and alumni membership, recently celebrating 90 years (2024) with events held across Saskatoon.

Whether you major in, minor in, or simply enjoy earth sciences, consider joinging the Ore Gangue!
