Orange You Ready
The Museum of Natural Sciences is proud supporter of Orange You Ready which is an opportunity for USask students, faculty, and staff (and their friends and family) to respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission 94 Calls to Action and USask ohpahotân | oohpaahotaan commitments. Teams participate in a variety of challenges planned by the OYR organizing group, comprised of Indigenous and non-Indigenous members, including Indigenous referees providing feedback in a welcoming community-based environment.
Downtown Fossil Tour
This guide will help you to find all kinds of surprises in downtown Saskatoon! Many of the buildings use Tyndall Stone, a sedimentary rock that was formed 450 million years ago. It contains the fossils of animals and plants that lived then in a shallow sea that covered much of our continent. Learn about some of the fossils, the history of the buildings, and go on some scavenger hunts.
