Jim Walters has practiced as a professional planner in Saskatchewan for 29 years, beginning in 1997, with a focus on rural, northern, and Indigenous communities.
For 20 years, he was principal of a consulting firm that worked across the province. During that time, he led the development of hundreds of community plans for Saskatchewan towns, Rural Municipalities, First Nations, and small cities.
Jim has recently returned to where his professional career began and is now part of the team responsible for Campus Planning at the University of Saskatchewan.
