INSPIRE Training
- Research related to synchrotron sciences, undertaken with co-supervisors:
- Synchrotron courses: an introductory course plus 2 electives from a variety of disciplines
- Professional Skills Certificate through the Gwenna Moss Centre for Training and Learning
- Core training in equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI)
- Mentorship circles enhancing connections and supporting progress toward future goals
- Annual Retreat with expert talks, student posters, networking
- Joint CLS-INSPIRE events including a seminar series with external speakers
- Research communication training with public outreach and advocacy
Optional additional opportunities for INSPIRE Fellows:
- EDI Champions training
- International Mobility to visit or train at other facilites
- Internships with local industry
- Leadership of new opportunities within INSPIRE

Call for INSPIRE Fellows
We accept NSERC-CREATE to INSPIRE proposals twice each year.
Applications are due no later than June 3, 2024 at noon for a September start. Applications are due on October 1st at noon for a January start.
