INSPIRE to CREATE builds on accessibility to Canada's only Synchrotron, the Canadian Light Source to engage in research broadly related to the synchrotron. This includes refining the technologies which generate and detect synchrotron light to applications in areas of benefit to Canada and world, including environmental science and agriculture, health and life sciences, natural resources and energy, and advanced materials.
