This course is for people who are new to art making, or returning after a hiatus, and would like a fun and low-stakes introduction to a variety of drawing mediums and techniques. In the first half of the course, Robin will introduce students to graphite pencil, charcoal, soft pastel, pen and ink, and coloured pencils. In the second half students will continue to practice with the mediums by exploring a variety of subject matters and techniques, including landscapes, animals, portraits, and abstract designs. The icing on the cake is Community Arts provides all the art materials and supplies needed for the course.
