  • Courses are offered annually in three terms: Fall, Winter, and Spring.
  • The popular courses span a wide range of literary, political, scientific, historical, religious, and artistic subjects.
  • There are no prerequisites, no textbooks, no essays, no exams.
  • Classes are held face-to-face in the Williams Building on Cumberland Ave. near U of S Campus with the exception of the Fall 2026 President’s Lecture Series [Rm. 146 ARTS] and the Studio Arts Class [R. 64 Murray Building].
  • There also is a hybrid option that allows students to attend either in person or via Zoom (except for the Studio Arts Classes).
  • The membership fee is $5.00 annually, payable at the time of course registration.
  • Course fees are $45.00 each, including GST. There is an additional $20.00 fee for the hybrid option. Some special courses such as Practical Studio Arts have an increased fee to cover materials.
