Tyndall Stone Fossils
There are many kinds of fossils in Tyndall stone. On this tour, we will see nautiloids, corals, stromatoporoids, gastropods, and receptaculites. There are other fossils in Tyndall Stone like brachiopods, bryozoans, crinoids, trilobites, and calcareous algae, but they are hard to see because they are small, less common, or are more susceptible to splitting when the stone is cut.
