In the grand finale of our series of Ancient Rome with Kevin Hicks, kids will have the opportunity to make a Roman-style shield and gladius. Once they have made their kit, they will practice Roman military drills with a real-life Roman soldier. Once they have mastered the necessary moves, kids will be given a certificate of achievement for having become a Roman soldier themselves!

* Kids do not need to attend the first two parts of the Ancient Rome series to attend the third. Each iteration of this series is designed to be stand-alone and is not required to attend the following one

Crafternoons are free of charge. The story and crafts are designed for kids ages 4-9, but we welcome kids and families of all ages.
