Bio:
Meaghan is originally from Ontario, in a small community called Utopia. She graduated with dual bachelor degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, where she was also a member of the varsity swim team. Meaghan's major BA project looked at climate action and what patterns are evident in the actions taken by various societal actors that are contributing to an overall trend of inefficiency in climate action efforts.
Meaghan is currently in her first year of our PhD program after recently completing her MA degree at the Department of Sociology, University of Saskatchewan.
Meaghan is President of the Sociology Graduate Students Association (SGSA) and is working with research teams within the Johnson Shoyama School of Public Policy as well as the Department of Indigenous Studies.
