Ages 8-13: Underglaze Workshop

$60 (kiln firing, tools and clear glaze included)

• Please bring a water bottle, snack and a work shirt.
• Art classes may involve materials that can stain or damage clothing. Students are encouraged to wear clothing suitable for messy activities.

This is a 1-session 3-hr workshop. For this workshop, students bring their chosen underglaze which can be purchased from Tree Pottery Supply https://treesaskatoon.com/. Students will then learn to apply underglaze to their finished & fired clay pieces which will be refired once the underglaze has been applied. For those students who would prefer to simply have shiny pieces, clear underglaze will be provided.
