A Season to Create: Inclusive Holiday Art Workshop

This workshop is for those who love to create over the holidays but often find it a challenge to carve out the time to do it. Here is your opportunity to make a mess without the worry. Students will be introduced to a variety of mixed-media techniques for creating images and 3-dimensional ornaments. Students will have ample space to experiment, and will be encouraged to express and share their own holiday traditions and beliefs through their art making.

Supplies
- 8 oz Golden GAC 100
- Elmer’s white glue
- Set of acrylic paints in tubes
- Set of acrylic brushes, assorted sizes
- Small bottle of water-proof India ink
- Bamboo brush
- Package of rice paper
- 12 inch metal ruler
- Small self-healing cutting mat
- Utility knife
- Scissors
- 9" x 12" pad of bristol board
- 9”x 12” pad of craft paper (various colours)
- An assortment of materials will be provided for students to use, including magazines, recycled craft papers, stamps, and specialty cutting tools.
