Associate Professor in the Sociology Department at the University of Saskatchewan. Research and teaching specialization are in the fields of Indigenous Justice; Crime and Society, focusing on Indigenous knowledge and the notion that justice is about healing rather than punishing. He writes on Indigenous topics and is a member of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation.
