From calls from politicians to ban Muslims from entry to the United States to blanket surveillance by law enforcement over everyday activities, the War on Terror has fundamentally changed how Muslim minorities in North America live their lives. Drawing on years of research and writing on this topic, Moustafa Bayoumi will speak about why the fate of Muslim minorities today matters not just for Muslims but for the health of our societies generally.
