Jodi Brown just recently joined our teaching corps. Jodi teaches beginner and intermediate levels of French. She has an Education degree with a specialization in French from the University of Regina BACC program. She has taught students to learn the language in order to increase their job opportunities and college readiness. Jodi enjoys learning other languages, working with children, and traveling.
Jodi on teaching: I’ve been dedicated to teaching French for 22 years (as well as English in Taiwan & Québec). I believe that learning a language should be focused on communicating and should be fun - being a risk taker and being able to laugh at yourself is a must. I also believe that learning a language is not about being perfect, but more about understanding and being understood. I pride myself on creating an environment where students feel comfortable to make mistakes and have fun learning.
