To help protect our community and prevent the spread of COVID-19, all classes will be online.

Do you want to reconnect to your roots or create more meaningfull business relationships? Learning one of Canada’s Indigenous languages allows you the possibility of communicating with family, friends, colleagues, and clients. Join us for conversational Cree classes on a part-time basis or in an immersion setting.

Weekly Cree Classes

Develop your language skills as you progress through the levels with qualified, fluent, and experienced instructors in a relaxed and friendly learning environment. You will receive a progress report card, free access to materials in our library, and an income tax deduction receipt.

Classes are $255 + GST for 20 hours of instruction, and enrolment is capped at 8 students. You will receive the online meeting information a few days before the start of class.

4-Day Cree Immersion

Learn some Cree quickly in a comfortable setting with a qualified, fluent and experienced teacher. This course is ideal for those who have little or no Cree language skills. The lessons inspired by Dr. Stephen Greymorning provide the skills to speak and understand the nêhiyawêwin language through total immersion techniques. Students will receive a progress report card, a certificate of completion, and an income tax deduction receipt.

  • Monday to Thursday 10am-3pm
  • $430 + GST includes a manual, traditional cuisine at lunch, and interaction with elders
