Silversmithing I: Basic Skills for Silver Jewelry

In this workshop, students will learn the basics of using traditional hand tools, and design and create their own jewelry. This course covers annealing, soldering, using a jewelers saw and a rolling mill, texturing, finishing, polishing, and designing custom jewelry.

Supplies

A tool kit and silver is required, and is purchased at the time of registration. You will receive the tools and silver the first day of class. In addition, please also bring a pencil/pen and paper to sketch out your designs and patterns.
