Photography I: Camera and Shooting Basics

Prerequisite: None

Students will discover their potential by learning how to manage their camera's aperture, shutter speed, lenses, and many in camera features. Expressive and technical approaches to various projects and subject matter will be explored and basic image editing and file storage will be covered.

Students should have a DSLR camera or similar with manual control capabilities. Students without a camera but who are considering purchasing one may find the first two or three weeks valuable in assisting their choices.
