Room Booking

The DRC has four rooms available for booking by faculty and students. To check availability please contact us.

  • Arts 144.1
This room can be configured as a seminar room for up to 16 people or as a small (30 person) performance venue for audio or video productions. It features a High-Definition projector, 120” widescreen screen, stereo speakers and laptop A/V docking station. It can also be set up for the playback of 7.1 surround sound. Acoustic curtains on the walls contribute to making this an outstanding small theatre.
  • Booths A, B and C
Each of the booths contains a workstation equipped with industry-standard audio, video and graphics software and the necessary audio and video interfaces. Booth A and B seat two collaborators comfortably, while C handles up to four people.

The DRC can provide you and your project with the following equipment:

  • Workstations equipped with industry-standard audio, video and graphics software (Adobe Creative Suite; Final Cut Pro)
  • Scanners: 13"x19" flatbed, slide/transparency, and bound-book
  • Still and video cameras with tripods
  • Digital audio recorders, microphones, and mixing boards
  • Graphics tablets
If we don't have the equipment here, there is a good chance we know where it can be found on-campus. Contact us and let us know what you need; we'll do our best to find it for you.

Faculty and students can sign out still and video cameras, tripods, audio recording equipment, and graphics tablets for up to one week. You can also sign out a key for after-hours access to a DRC room. To reserve please contact us.
