Program Admission Guidelines

We offer MA programs in Anthropology (thesis-based and project-based) and Archaeology (thesis-based). We require applicants to have a degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a closely related field. If you are unsure if you meet our requirements, please contact the department's graduate secretary. The documents required for application are described in Application Requirements. The statement of intent is important to the department in assigning the student a thesis supervisor. No student is admitted to this program unless a supervisor can be identified at the time the application is considered. The applicant's grade average for the last two years of course work must be at least 70% or the equivalent.
