Learning, Mastery & Fluency - Cost: $230 + GST/course

Conversational Cree: Part-time program

Low beginner level

Fall & Winter sessions: 20-hour classes over 10 weeks; evenings

Spring sessions: 20-hour classes over 8 weeks; evenings

4 Day Intensive Cree Immersion Program

Want to make your business interactions more meaningful? Need to reconnect with your roots? Fast track your Cree conversational skills.

August session: 20-hour class over 4 days; Monday - Thursday 10am-3pm

  • Learn some Cree quickly in a comfortable authentic setting (Wanuskewin Heritage Park).
  • Ideal for those who have little or no Cree language skills.
  • Instruction is with a qualified, fluent & experienced teacher.
  • Lessons inspired by Dr. Stephen Greymorning provide the skills to speak and understand the nêhiyawêwin language through total immersion techniques.
  • Includes textbook, traditional cuisine at lunch, interaction with elders.
  • Receive a progress report card, a certificate of completion, and an income tax deduction receipt.
