Digital Photography: Introduction (Tues afternoon)

Discover your potential by learning how to manage your cameras aperture, shutter speed, lenses and many in camera features. Expressive and technical approaches to various projects and subject matter will be explored and basic image editing and file storage will be covered.

Lifestyle Photography Weekend Workshop

Prerequisite: Working knowledge of your own DSLR camera.

Learn how to capture natural and creative lifestyle portraits in this hands-on workshop. With an on-location (on campus) photo shoot demo, students will learn how to shoot using natural light, creating relaxed posing, incorporating compositional elements, working candidly and becoming comfortable behind the camera. Students should have a working knowledge of their own DSLR camera.

Contemporary Digital Art

Prerequisite: none

Learn how to create unique digital artworks in Adobe Photoshop CC. Students will explore a variety of image input and photomontage techniques, and  be inspired by examples of contemporary digital art. No Photoshop experience required. Computer and software provided.
