Spring 2018: the unexpected issue

Arts&Science spring 2018 cover artwork by Tammi Campbell
On the cover:

This work from the Monochrome series by artist Tammi Campbell (BFA’99) masquerades as something mundane, but each element—tape and cardboard—is skillfully sculpted from acrylic paint. Read more about how Campbell is pushing her medium into unexpected forms in our feature "Material deceit." (Tammi Campbell, Monochrome with Corrugated Cardboard and Tan Packing Tape, 2017. Acrylic on linen.)
