Feb. 28 is the nomination deadline for two university-wide awards.
Award for Distinction in Outreach and Public Service
The University of Saskatchewan’s Award for Distinction in Outreach and Public Service exists to give recognition to those members of the University of Saskatchewan community who have contributed greatly and with distinction to the achievement of the University’s outreach and public service mission.
All members of the University currently employed (faculty and staff) on a full or part time basis are eligible. Nominations may be made by students, alumni, faculty, staff, colleges, departments, or the community at large.
The nomination deadline is February 28, 2013

Award for Distinction in Community-Engaged Teaching and Scholarship
The University of Saskatchewan’s Award for Community-Engaged Teaching and Scholarship exists to recognize those members of the University of Saskatchewan’s faculty community who have contributed greatly and with distinction to the achievement of the University’s engagement mission. It is designed to draw attention to the value of forging and sustaining partnerships with communities as a distinct means of conducting research and delivering teaching opportunities.
All currently employed faculty members at the University of Saskatchewan are
eligible to be nominated. Nominations may be made by students, alumni, faculty, staff, colleges, departments, or the community at large.
The nomination deadline is February 28, 2013
