World Premiere! New Work by Geoffrey Chaucer, with the assistance of Terry Jones

The Wife of Bath Meets Brian’s Mum

Being a presentation of the first part of Geoffrey Chaucer's much-anticipated new work, provisionally titled the Tales of Canterbury. Offered in celebration of the assumption of the reins of kingship by Richard II on 3rd May, 1389. Mr Chaucer’s work will be presented alongside a translation by Terry Jones, Python and Scholar. Mr Jones will introduce Mr Chaucer and his translation, and the new work and translation will be accompanied by a multi-media extravaganza prepared by students at the University. Mr Chaucer’s appearance will be enabled by Colin Gibbings, and that of Mr Jones by Skype.
