Hacking Health Saskatoon

Saskatchewan’s first Hacking Health Hackathon

What is it? A three-day event that brings together healthcare professionals with technology experts to create solutions for healthcare, with the goal to improve patient care, improve patient quality of life, improve treatment options and outcomes, and make life easier for healthcare professionals.

During the hackathon, healthcare professionals will pitch their ideas to the developer and maker participants. The developers and makers then decide which project fits their skills and join the healthcare provider to create a team. All members (healthcare professionals, developers, makers, and entrepreneurs) will collaborate over the hackathon weekend to create a prototype of the proposed solution.

Hacking Health has organized over 10 healthcare-focused hackathons across Canada and around the world. The Hacking Health Saskatoon event is being organized in partnership with an interdisciplinary group of students from the U of S.
