Tomas Borsa (BA’13 double honours, Psychology, Political Studies) is the recipient of the Best Overall MSc Performance Prize from the London School of Economics (LSE) Department of Media and Communications. The prize is the department’s top award, granted to the student with the highest overall average among a cohort of 245 postgraduates. Borsa, who earned his MSc in Politics and Communications, received the award at the LSE convocation ceremony on Dec. 13, 2016.

A donor-supported fellowship from the Department of Political Studies for postgraduate study at the London School of Economics helped Borsa to further his education abroad. His master’s dissertation focused on the mediated representation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) in Indigenous community newspapers.

Since October 2016, Borsa has been employed in the London headquarters of Perrett Laver, a global executive search and advisory firm.
