RIVER VOLTA READING SERIES AND OPEN MIC TONIGHT!

The MFA in Writing program offers a fabulous line-up for the last River Volta Reading Series until September!

Readings feature the graduating MFA in Writing 2nd year students, as well as a musical performance by Sasktoon musician Rachel Elizabeth.

An open mic gives writers the opportunity to share original readings of up to 5 minutes in length.

Food and beverages for available for purchase.

This is a free event, but donations to the 'Golden Toque of Wonder' are gratefully accepted.

Saskatoon songwriter Rachel Elizabeth released her solo EP ‘Strange Fingerprints’ under the moniker Fern and has opened for the Rae Spoon, Jeremy Fisher and Megan Nash. Rachel volunteers with Tonight it’s Poetry and plays in the band Lip Slackers.
