Chemistry Research Awards Day

Each fall the chemistry department holds a research awards day to celebrate the important contribution undergraduate students make to the research environment in the Department of Chemistry. All the students involved in research courses such as Chem 380.3, 482.3 and 483.6, and those engaged in summer research present their work as posters. There are prizes for the best poster and a Peoples Choice Award. The department also announces the winners of the various department awards and scholarships for undergraduates.

The event is open to the public and it gives you a chance to see the kinds of projects our students are pursuing and a chance to talk to other undergraduates as well as the faculty themselves. There is food, drink, prizes for the research students and door prizes available for just voting in the Peoples Choice Award, so keep an eye out for dates and details.
